Baby Photography
My name is Peter. I love working with natural light and absolutely love photographing newborns and babies.
It's important for Mum & Dad to feel comfortable with me, so you are welcome to talk on the phone, or arrange a time to visit me at my studio for a no-obligation pre-meet, to make sure you are happy with me and the way I work.
I do most of my sessions from my studio in Brentwood High Street, where I am fortunate enough to have window light in my studio room. Having this natural light source is a key part of achieving those soft and natural looking photographs.
Newborns (0-1 month)
Newborn sessions are best done within the first 2 weeks of birth. These sessions can take a few hours, as baby needs to be in a comfortable and deep sleep for the shots. These sessions do have a fee of £90 in my studio and £150 if I come to your home. In addition to the fee, there is also a minimum photograph order of £100.
The session fee is paid at time of booking, or can be purchased as a personalised voucher to give as a gift.
Babies (1 month and older)
Once babies are a little older, they do not need to be asleep which reduces the length of the session and therefore the need for me to request a session fee, or a minimum spend on photographs. With older babies, you can buy as few or as many photographs as you would like (starting price £35).
Sharing with Friends & Family
I provide free facebook thumbnail files of every photograph you purchase, so you can share these with your friends & family on social networking sites. If any of your friends or family then book a session with me and purchase at least one photograph, you can choose another 8x6 from your gallery, free of charge. Make sure they give me your name when they call to book.
